The university provides an academic environment that is rich with knowledge and new exciting challenges for every student.

How have you found the transition to life in the UK?

This is my fourth year studying in the UK and I have thoroughly enjoyed the world-class teaching experience. Adjusting to the new responsibilities accompanied by university life is a learning experience for all, from doing laundry to gaining council tax exceptions. Nevertheless, this allows us to grow, mature and develop resilience.

How would you summarise º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ?

What advice would you give to future international students?

My advice for future and current international students is to not underestimate the move away from their home countries.

You will have good days, and bad days, and it is therefore important that you have a good support network, whether this is good friendships and/or maintaining regular communications with family. For me, personally, it has become more challenging being away from my home country in my later university years. Thankfully, my support network has been amazing. As long as the good days outweigh the bad days, students will have an amazing and fulfilling experience studying in the UK.
