Travelling from Manchester Airport to º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ

If you’ve decided to fly to Manchester airport then you’ll find lots of useful information on how to travel south to our º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ campus.

By taxi

If you’re travelling by yourself we do not recommend that you get a taxi, as it can be very expensive. However if you’re travelling with a group, then this might be a good way of travelling to our º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ campus.

If you do decide to travel by taxi, we recommend that you book the taxi in advance.

By train

Currently there is no direct trainline from Manchester Airport to º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ train station. However, depending on which train you get, there is only one change. The most direct route is to get the train from Manchester Airport to Sheffield train station. You can then get a direct train from Sheffield to º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.

Travelling from º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ train station to our º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ campus

Once you’ve arrived at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ train station, you’ll find that there are plenty of taxis waiting outside the railway station. It normally costs around £10 and the journey from the train station to our campus will take around 10 minutes. Alternatively, the ‘Sprint’ bus runs directly to the University from the bus-stop outside the railway station and costs about £2.10. Visit Kinchbus.co.uk for more information. 

By coach

If you travel by coach there is one change at Manchester Coach Station. The coach normally takes 4 hours but drops you off outside of our º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ campus. You can research times and fares at nationalexpress.com and you can also pre-book your coach tickets.
