Make friends while exploring the UK

Each year our º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Students’ Union (LSU) organise a variety of trips to different places in the UK – giving you the exciting opportunity to see more of the UK, learn more about our history, and meet lots of new friends.

The UK has such a rich heritage that it would be a shame not to explore it while you’re here. In the past, LSU have organised trips to:

Stonehenge

A prehistoric monument dating back to 3000 BC – 2000 BC, Stonehenge is a ring of standing stones each standing around 13 feet high.

Bath

Located in the South-West of England, Bath is renowned for the roman-built baths and has a long history.

Stratford-upon-Avon

The birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon is located in the West-Midlands.

Oxford

Poet Matthew Arnold famously referred to Oxford as the ‘City of Dreaming Spires’ – and once you’ve seen the medieval architecture for yourself you’ll understand why.

Edinburgh

An overnight trip to Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland. Edinburgh has a rich history with lots of fantastic cultural attractions.

Manchester

Visit the famous Christmas market and go on a walking tour of the city, the third most visited city in the UK after London and Edinburgh.

London

In the past, the trip has included a tour of Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland and a theatre show. London is the capital city of England.

Liverpool

Located in the North-West of England, Liverpool is the birthplace of The Beatles and was also nominated the European Capital of Culture.
