Approved educational advisors and agents
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ works with a number of recruitment partners, educational advisors and agents worldwide.
What is a recruitment partner, educational advisor or agent?
A recruitment partner, educational advisor or agent can be described as a person or organisation that deals directly with prospective international students on behalf of educational institutions.
Why we work with recruitment partners, educational advisors and agents
We work with recruitment partners, educational advisors and agents to help promote the University globally and because they can offer a range of support for potential students to help them on their journey to an overseas institution. These services would ordinarily include education counselling, such as course and institution matching, and assistance with academic and visa applications.
Partner assessments
We have a thorough checklist and requirements that are expected to be met before any new partners, advisor or agent would be contracted to work with º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ and we conduct regular training and reviews with them to ensure they are kept up to date with our programme details and admissions processes and are representing us faithfully and ethically.
Agent Quality Framework
As part of our commitment to the Agent Quality Framework we will be actively encouraging all º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ recruitment partners, educational advisors and agents to follow the National Code of Ethical Practice for UK Education to highlight their commitment to a quality experience for the student, and this will be built into our new and renewal contracts over the coming year: National-Code-of-Ethical-Practice-for-UK-Education-Agents-2021.pdf (buila.ac.uk)
Contracted recruitment partners, educational advisors and agents will, in return for their support and guidance, receive a commission based payment from º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ for every student they support and recruit to the University. This is in line with standard practices globally.
Our commitment to the Agent Quality Framework
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ has signed and fully committed to the Agent Quality Framework and is delighted to join many other Universities in the UK in committing to this pledge which we see as a positive development for the entire sector. This is good for our international agent partners and for potential students as it safeguards everyone.
