Volunteers needed for early Windows 11 upgrade

As we prepare for the campus-wide rollout of Windows 11 for university-managed devices, we are seeking 100 volunteers to upgrade their devices ahead of the launch date.

Benefits of early access:

• Exclusive early access: Volunteers will be among the first to experience the enhanced features of Windows 11.
  
• Support the process: Your participation will help our technical teams thoroughly stress-test the full user experience, ensuring a smooth rollout for everyone.

Upgrade dates:

• We are looking for volunteers to schedule their upgrade between Monday 14 October and Friday 18 October. This will involve an in-person visit to our on-campus upgrade clinic.

Pre-requirements:

• Volunteers will need to perform some housekeeping on their devices before the upgrade, such as moving locally stored data or links to OneDrive and backing up your bookmarks and favourites. See Windows 11 upgrade – prep guide.
