White Ribbon Day: Panel Discussion

º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ this event

'It Starts with Men' is the theme for White Ribbon Day 2024, which encourages men to take action to end violence against women and girls.

º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ’s Maia Network recognise the importance of this day in terms of communicating message of accountability and support and will be hosting a panel discussion event with colleagues from across the University. The panel will consist of the University's Chief Operating Officer, representatives from campus security, the Duty Assessment and Inclusion team, hall wardens and a White Ribbon UK Trustee; to explore this important and pervasive topic: sexual violence and harassment towards women and girls.

If you are interested in joining the discussion please book onto the event and if you have a working interest in the area you may want to contribute to our White Ribbon Art Exhibition in support of White Ribbon Day to raise awareness and promote allyship against domestic violence. All interested staff, students and members of the public are invited to participate.
