Bishop's Lecture: Welcoming Rt Hon.The Lord Paul Boateng

The University Chaplaincy are hosting the third Bishop's Lecture welcoming The Rt Hon. The Lord Paul Boateng.

As part of the new ‘Chaplaincy Lectures’, a joint initiative between the Bishop of Leicester and universities in Leicester and º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, the next lecture will take place at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ on Thursday 7 November at 6pm.

The lecture will be given by the Rt Hon. The Lord Paul Boateng CVO entitled "The Challenge of the Margins - The Role of Church and State in Addressing the Needs of the Overlooked at Home and Abroad.”

Doors open at 5.30pm, with refreshments available in the EHB Atrium. Following the lecture there will be a time for Q&A with Lord Boateng.

Lord Boateng is a former Chief Secretary to the Treasury and High Commissioner to South Africa, currently the Chairman of The Archbishops Commission on Racial Justice, and Co-Chair of the Grenfell Tower Memorial Commission
