The Centre for Service Management (CSM) hosted the workshop "Publishing Scholarly Research", with Professor Dwayne D. Gremler from Bowling Green State University, USA as keynote speaker.

Professor Gremler was an ideal candidate to talk about the topic of how to publish in top journals as he has published in these himself. His workshop is especially valuable given HEFCE’s decision to change the ratio of funding between research rated as world-leading (4*) and internationally excellent (3*) in the Research Excellence Framework (REF) from 3:1 to 4:1 for 2015-16, which is in line with the high ambitions of the CSM to be recognised for high-quality research. 

We were honoured to welcome Professor Gremler to the SBE, and the workshop was a great success.
