Dynamical Systems

Dynamical systems are systems which evolve over time according to fixed rules.

They can be used to mathematically model a wide range of natural phenomena, including celestial mechanics, plasma physics, atomic physics, and the dynamics of chemical reactions.

The dynamical systems group at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ studies a wide range of aspects of dynamical systems theory, such as Hamiltonian and dissipative dynamics, dynamical chaos in classical and quantum systems, dynamics of multi-scale systems, ergodic theory, random matrix theory, and bifurcation theory.
