I hold a BSc in Theoretical Physics from the University of Patras, Greece, an MSc in Pure Mathematics from the University of Essex, UK, and a Postgraduate Certification in Academic Practice from the University of Suffolk, UK. I am a Higher Education Academy (FHEA) Fellow with Qualified Teacher Status.
With over thirty years of teaching experience, I have instructed A-Levels, Further Mathematics Mechanics, and Mathematics for first and second-year undergraduates. Additionally, I worked as a Mathematics and Statistics Support Adviser at the University of Suffolk and provided support at the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Mathematics Learning Support Center. I also served as a Research Associate for the Department of Mathematical Education at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.
I am a PhD researcher in the Department of Mathematics Education at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ and a Teaching Assistant in Mathematics at the same university.
My research focuses on enhancing the learning experience in undergraduate mathematics by optimizing how mathematics is read. Specifically, I explore the characteristics of questioning that stimulate meaningful connections, facilitating the development of mathematical reasoning.
