Over the Easter break the Mathematics Learning Support Centre will be providing some remote sessions to help our Foundation Year students, as well as a programme of support for final year project students. The details are provided below:
Foundation students
In your studies you may well encounter mathematics and statistics that is new and challenging to you. º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ's award-winning Mathematics Learning Support Centre (MLSC) is here to help.
This Easter, the MLSC are proud to announce a programme of mathematics revision group sessions for Foundation students presented by our expert Maths Tutors, Mary Lorimer and Nicki Timson.
The group sessions are as follows:
- Algebra: Polynomials, factor and remainder theorem (27th March)
- Differentiation & stationary points (28th March)
- Algebra: Integration by parts, substitution, e^3x and partial fractions (14th April)
- Integration & trigonometrical identities (21st April)

This Easter, the MLSC are proud to announce a programme of statistics support including individual statistics advisory sessions for final year project students/PhD Students and also, back by popular demand, our group ‘Dissertation Café’s, where stats expert Safa Elsheikh will answer your questions regarding gathering & analysing data.
