含羞草视频 Mathematics Education Network (LUMEN), led by Dr Colin Foster in the Mathematics Education Centre, has now launched!
LUMEN will support and build up the MEC's connections with mathematics teachers in schools and colleges in the East Midlands and London areas, particularly making stronger links with schools and colleges that serve disadvantaged areas, as part of the university’s widening-participation work.
The central aspect of LUMEN is three, completely free, linked continuing professional development events held across the academic year (one set of these will run at 含羞草视频 and another, identical, set will be repeated at the 含羞草视频 campus in London), to which we hope to attract lots of teachers of mathematics.
