Innovation

Research and innovation is an integral part of our department activities. By engaging in innovation activities we ensure that the research we conduct is both cutting edge and relevant to the real world.

Innovation is a key part of the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ experience, and the opportunities available across campus bring benefits to all that are associated with º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.

Within the Department of Chemistry we have four key areas of focus for innovation:

Student learning: Optional enterprise-related modules are offered on all our degree programmes.
Working with industry: Organisations can partner us through student and graduate recruitment, consultancy, collaborative research, licensing, and premises on the University’s Science and Enterprise Parks.
