Employability
Our aim is to produce talented and well-rounded graduates who are ready for careers in charge of our built environment.
We are proud to be ranked 1st for Graduate Prospects in Building (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022), showcasing our graduates among some of the most employable in the UK.
Engineers and architects have some of the top-earning starting salaries due to their unique and specialist skillset. Chartered Engineers, Design, Construction and Commercial Managers command even higher salaries. Once you have received chartered status, you can expect to earn a salary of over £60,000 per year.
From real-life industry project briefs and skills development modules to year-long industry placements and on-site project experiences, our students are exposed to countless opportunities to develop their employability.
“Whenever a new graduate comes into whatever site they’re working on and they say they’re from º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, there’s already an expectation that they’ve had a good grounding and that they are of a calibre that maybe other universities and institutions don’t have.â€
