Victoria is a building scientist at the Building Safety Regulator, where she leads on technical policies for energy efficiency, overheating and ventilation in new and existing homes. She was a lead author for the recent Building Regulations consultations on these areas and was the lead author for Approved Documents L, F and O 2021.
She manages and directs research projects on building performance and develops technical policies using a wide range of evidence sources. She is currently working on the development of the Future Homes Standard.
Victoria was awarded her PhD from º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ where she was researching the energy efficiency and overheating potential of buildings in the existing housing stock.
