Research and expertise
I have several years of industry experience, having worked for consultancies, start-ups and government organisations.
This experience has been mainly as a project/programme manager. Most recently, I managed the Cape Town programme of the Global Future Cities Programme – and the UK government-run Prosperity Fund programme.

Profile
Currently undertaking a PhD at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ in Big Data Application in Urban Mobility.
I have got over 10 years of experience in the transport industry, working for large consultancies, start-ups, and public bodies.
I did my master's degree in Smart Cities and Urban Data Analysis, with a keen interest in how spatial transportation data analysis, modelling and visualisation can support and inform smart urban design.
My PhD research project centres around data-driven design, modelling, and simulation of demand-responsive transit services, with a specific focus on connected autonomous vehicles (CAVs).
The research aims to develop an integrated, multi-scale simulation framework where proposed CAV services can be holistically modelled and configured. This framework will make use of real-world CAV performance capabilities to design, simulate and evaluate proposed CAV services within the context of the wider urban mobility network.
