Research and expertise

Having a transport engineering background, I have experience in railway timetabling as well as in transport network design and regional planning.

My interest in innovative mobility concepts and the relationship between the built environment and human behaviour informs my research. Currently, I am focussing on the application of space syntax methodology for planning purposes and the big data-based analysis of micro-mobility usage.

Current Research Activity

  • Connected º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ: promoting sustainable travel in º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ
  • Exploiting passively generated big data for the planning and operation of shared e-scooters
