Research and expertise

I am a Doctoral Researcher at º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, who specialises in low-carbon glazing techniques, including Water-filled glass. I conduct research primarily within this area, with a particular focus on the glazing of the future in the built environment. I hold an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering (MEng) from º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, and have previous research experience as an undergraduate researcher.

  • Thermal comfort of standard and advanced glazed building envelopes
  • Whole life-cycle analysis of standard, advanced, and water-filled glass building envelopes
  • Quantifying the effects of a fluid layer on the structural properties of Insulated Glass Units (IGUs)

Profile

I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Meng) from º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ in 2023. During this period, I also obtained a Diploma in Industrial Studies, working at ISG as a Construction Manager.

Throughout my studies, I have held various concurrent jobs, both academic and unrelated. These include working as:

  • an undergraduate researcher
  • an energy simulation technician
  • a retail advisor within the telecommunications sector
