Congratulations Haitao He who has now commenced his Future Leader Fellowship, focusing on developing AI-driven models and simulations for multimodal urban transport. His research will develop holistic adoption pathways towards net-zero, inclusive mobility.

This week, he also won a top-10 place – out of over 400 competing entries! – for the highly prestigious Manchester Prize, funded by the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT). The £100,000 award will accelerate the development of his research into an innovative solution called ‘TraffEase AI’, aimed at helping city authorities effectively manage transport by transforming mobility data into actionable intelligence. His solution is set to compete for the grand prize of £1 million early next year.
