Congratulations to Eeman Al-Ameen and Catherine Yeung
Eeman Al-Ameen and Catherine Yeung were impressive recipients of this year’s Women in Engineering Awards at a ceremony last Friday hosted by Georgia Collis, Committee Chair for º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ Women’s Engineering Society and Rachel Thomson, Pro Vice Chancellor for Education and Student Experience.
Eeman is a civil engineer and was recognised for her outstanding research in the area of ultra high performance lightweight cementitious sandwich panels for complex shapes. We wish her well in her upcoming PhD viva.
Catherine has a background in building engineering and management and was recognised for her work in building energy performance, simulation and compliance. Well done to both of these colleagues who have very promising futures ahead in engineering.
