Undertakes research in a variety of areas mainly relating to the development of gas turbine combustion and aerothermal related technologies. This includes reacting flows, development of low emission and ultra-low emission combustion systems, sustainable aviation fuels, 2 phase flows, thermo-acoustics, heat transfer. This includes both experimental activities and the development of chemical kinetics, reacting flow network and CFD tools
