Rehearsals (for a world we could live in): Programme launch
Book nowJoin us (in person or online) as we launch Radar's new programme for 2024-26 with a discussion event.
º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ this event
Rehearsals (for a world we could live in) explores artistic practices of ‘world-building’ and ‘rehearsal’, which enact or perform more just and liveable worlds.
The Rehearsals programme will commission a series of artists whose work imagines new worlds or ways of living, from more equitable healthcare systems, to climate solidarity networks, to embodied forms of justice. This programme connects to research happening across º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ, from the Health Humanities research group, to the Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS), to researchers in English, Sociology, Politics, Architecture and more.
For this discussion, in addition to hearing from two of the artists who will work with Radar as part of this programme, Dani Admiss & Luiza Prado, we are delighted to host invited guest speakers Jemma Desai, Amahra Spence and Hannah Wallis; their distinct practices each model more liveable worlds: from life-affirming infrastructures, to accessible futures, to decolonial and abolitionist scholarship and praxis.
Full speaker biographies and more information about this programme can be found on Radar's website.
