I am a º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ-based Graphic Communication and Illustration student. Throughout my life I have always loved creating art, many drawings from my younger years are still in pride of place at my grandparents’ house. I love to illustrate people, particularly inspirational women. When not drawing, I am watching Netflix or reading Greek Myths and many of these shows have inspired my art. I am very honoured that my work has been considered for this collection.
Cast of Pose
Indya Moor, Dominique Jackson and MJ Rodriquez. Three actors from the show Pose. This show and it’s beautiful cast are so inspiring to me because its diversity and celebration of human life. It tells a story about ballroom culture in New York in The 80’s. The cast features a lot of members from the LGBT+ community and has the largest cast of transgender actors with reoccurring and scripted roles. It really is a celebration of culture and what makes us human and I find that really inspiring. Each actor has been on a journey and each story is celebrated through this show. It also covers important issues such as the HIV/AIDS crisis and the violent treatment of transgender women. It is a beautiful show with a beautiful cast.
