Each year the awards highlight the benefits of studying in the UK by showcasing the outstanding achievements of international students who have used their UK education to make positive changes in their professions.
There are four categories and judges will select alumni who demonstrate that their work has had a significant impact on their industries and communities. They will also look for applicants with great potential to influence and inspire others.
International alumni who have studied at a UK university within the last 15 years (2009-2024) can apply. Applicants must live outside of the UK.
The four award categories are:
Business and Innovation Award - Recognising alumni who are active in initiating and contributing to innovative or creative new ideas, solutions or business opportunities, that have the potential for growth.
Culture and Creativity Award - Recognising alumni who have carved a career for themselves in arts and culture. Individuals who can demonstrate their artistic ingenuity, influence and creativity.
Science and Sustainability Award - Recognising alumni who have distinguished themselves through their careers and achievements in the world of science and sustainability, and who can demonstrate the impact and scale of their achievements in their profession, and beyond.
Social Action Award - Recognising alumni who have made an exceptional contribution and commitment to creating positive social change and improving the lives of others.
Applications are welcomed from around the world, with awards running nationally or globally depending on the region. Some nations will host in-country ceremonies and awards.
