Getting involved in mainland China and Hong Kong SAR

Did you know that we have a large and active population of alumni in mainland China and Hong Kong SAR?

A number of International Alumni Ambassadors support activity in the region. The current International Alumni Ambassadors are:  

  • Charles Li, Beijing 
  • Charlie Williams, Beijing 
  • Fangyi Duan, Chengdu 
  • Ashleigh Vilk, Hong Kong SAR 
  • Jacky Wang, Shanghai 
  • Sabrina Ying, Shanghai  
  • Winston Mo, Shenzhen  

Mark Upton and Dr Anna Chang also continue to support work in the region as members of the Alumni Advisory Board (AAB). 

We look forward to continuing to work in the region and keeping our alumni connected to º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ.  

We are grateful to the many alumni who continue to connect with other alumni through a variety of informal WeChat groups and events.

Official events are those that are organised by International Alumni Ambassadors, the AAB members or the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ-based alumni team. Alumni are welcome to attend and take part in other meetings and events based on their own interests and networks. Involvement in all social media groups and chats are also at the individuals’ choice. 

The University contacts alumni in mainland China and Hong Kong SAR in accordance with our data and privacy policies. Only the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ-based alumni team are authorised to collect personal data on behalf of the University.
