Indy said: “The idea was to build a dedicated, subscription-based streaming platform that provides global audiences access to this content category often overlooked in mainstream media. More than just a streaming service, the platform is committed to ensuring artists are fairly compensated, invigorating an underserved ecosystem that has audiences in the millions.”
Since its inception, PerformVu has partnered with renowned global arts organisations and received investment from leading early stage Venture Capital investors including Techstars & Antler. They have grown rapidly since launching in July last year and have just launched new AI-features that innovate on the user experience to drive engagement.
Indy graduated in 2018 with a BA in Politics, and so far their career has involved pursuing different business roles, which in turn motivated them to move to New York to set up a global strategic growth function.
After moving to the United States, Indy married their partner who is an award-winning performance artist, and together they were able to identify the market gap, which guided them into building the start-up.
Well done and good luck Indy.
