The alumna has been officially selected to represent Team GB in the women’s skeleton and will be part of history as the Chinese capital becomes the first city to host the summer and winter Olympic Games.
Brogan will be joined in Beijing by PyeongChang 2018 bronze medallist Laura Deas, Marcus Wyatt, and Matt Weston in a dynamic-looking four-pronged team.
A former Great Britain junior heptathlete, Brogan had been struggling with an ankle injury due to the repetitive nature of the jumping and throwing events within her sports, and taking on a new challenge with skeleton came at the perfect time in her career.
The women’s skeleton competition is scheduled for 11 February at 1.30am GMT and 12 February at 12.20pm.
We wish Brogan the best of luck.
