The alumna is currently developing an early-years physiotherapy aid to encourage the development of core physical skills including coordination, strength, and range of motion in children. Katie says this makes the exercises “exciting for both the child and parent”.
Orientated around products designed for children with additional needs, the project was inspired by Katie’s young cousin, who has cerebral palsy.
Now, her focus is on raising brand awareness through means such as her feature in the Kidz to Adultz magazine by Disabled Living.
Katie will be attending the Naidex physiotherapy show at NEC Birmingham on 15-16 September 2021.
