Anatu created the publication to celebrate and recognise the exceptional contribution female academics are making within academia and to help these women feel connected through a network of like-minded, dedicated professionals.
Anatu said:
“Putting together the first two issues have been a huge honour.
“Seeing the amazing things that women from across all academic disciplines are doing to grow their knowledge, further their research and support fellow colleagues and students, has been so inspiring and confirmed what I already knew - it is time to shine a spotlight on women in academia!”
Dr Mahama graduated with a PhD in English and Drama (publishing and communication) in 2018.
