The population of º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ alumni across mainland China and Hong Kong SAR make up one of our largest international groups. We have several groups of alumni across different regions. They are very sociable and hold well-attended regional gatherings.

As part of our new International Alumni Ambassador scheme, we are sharing details of events and activities in a range of locations. Be sure to keep your contact details updated and check our events page for the latest information.

Getting involved

Our alumni often welcome University staff to mainland China and Hong Kong SAR, who host dinners and receptions. Academics travel to strengthen industry links and to raise the profile of the University.

Members of our Global Engagement team occasionally travel to support student recruitment events and to hold pre-departure briefings.

Official events are those organised by International Alumni Ambassadors, the AAB members or the º¬Ðß²ÝÊÓƵ University-based alumni team. Alumni are welcome to attend and take part in other meetings and events based on their own interests and networks. Involvement in all social media groups and chats are also at the individuals’ choice.

There are many alumni-run WeChat groups across mainland China. The University also has a Weibo account which is managed by the Global Engagement team.

For Hong Kong there is a Facebook group which is dedicated to sharing the latest university news and upcoming events.
