Janey Briers

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Janey Briers who left us on 25 March, 2022.

Janey worked in the Chemical Engineering department at the university for over 30 years. 

She had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a couple of years ago and fought a brave battle until she left us peacefully at home.

The unveiling of a plaque will take place in the LU Garden of Remembrance, on Saturday 22 October at 11:00. All are welcome to attend.
