Caroline Gibbbons

Caroline (Carrie) Gibbons (nee Ball) died suddenly and tragically on 22 January 2021 at the Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham after a hernia operation.

Carrie studied Ergonomics (1976-79) graduating with a 2:1. She was in Cayley Hall throughout her time at University.

She met and married Neil Gibbons (Chemical Engineering 1975-79) and they were married after graduating in 1979.

Carrie and Neil were married for 41 years and lived in Nottingham. For the last 15 years she had been working as a Welfare Officer for the Frank Hodson Foundation, a Charity providing accomodation for the elderly. They have two children James and Oliver and two grandchildren Ernie and Emmeline. 

She will be sadly missed.
